Central Philippine University, a private university situated in Iloilo City, Philippines, was founded by American Baptist missionaries in 1905.
The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes in colleges of arts and sciences, education, nursing, computer studies, engineering, pharmacy, law, business and accountancy, medicine, hospitality management and theology.
The university's mission of being socially responsible is reflected in its many programmes and projects that aim to improve the well-being of the local community. One programme is the Community Outreach Programme (COP), which provides various services like free medical and dental check-ups, feeding programmes, and livelihood projects for disadvantaged individuals and families.

The university is affiliated with the Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches.
