Essentially the Uzbek version of Police Academy, the Law Enforcement Academy of Uzbekistan trains personnel in the field of crime investigation, as well as for local and national prosecutors¡¯ offices.
Established in 2022, the Tashkent-based academy replaced a specialist branch of Tashkent State Law University. All the branch¡¯s educational material and staff members were transferred to the new academy.
The academy provides professional development for workers already in these roles, as well as offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Both sets of degree programmes come under the faculty of law, and focus on investigative activity and prosecutorial activity. In addition, master¡¯s programmes look at anticorruption measures and international human-rights law.
