Recognized for its commitment to sustainability and dedication to environmental responsibility, Thammasat Design School proudly received the prestigious "Green Office Award for Excellence" in 2023. The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Thammasat University was also celebrated for its sustainability initiatives, earning the Green Office Award for Excellence (Gold Medal) in 2023 from the Department of Climate Change and Environment under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Assistant Professor Asan Suwannarit, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Thammasat University, emphasized the faculty's holistic approach to sustainability. This approach encompasses expertise in physical design, environmentally friendly operational systems, and community engagement and participation to raise awareness among faculty, staff, and students.

Looking forward, the faculty is committed to implementing management practices that adhere to Net Zero and Carbon Neutral guidelines. Through a strategic partnership with SCG Cement-Building Materials Company Limited, the faculty is actively studying and developing guidelines to establish itself as a leading model organization for sustainable practices in the future.

In addition to these achievements, the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Thammasat University consistently integrates sustainability into its core activities. From energy-efficient building designs and solar panel installations to waste recycling programs and the innovative TDS Freecycle Rack project, the faculty actively promotes sustainable practices and encourages responsible material use at all levels.  These initiatives not only benefit the environment but also instill a culture of sustainable practices among students and staffs.
