Newcastle University was a double winner at the awards, hosted by com?edian Jack Whitehall, scooping the top prize, for outstanding leadership and management team, for the second time in three years, as well as claiming the outstanding procurement team ?category.
The Glasgow School of Art picked up the award for outstanding marketing/communications team for its response to the fire that swept through the institution’s Mackintosh Building in May?2014.
Other universities to win on the night included Birmingham, Derby, Edinburgh Napier, Harper Adams, Huddersfield, Loughborough, Northumbria, Nottingham Trent, Sheffield, Warwick, York and the Open University.
