NEW SEXUAL AGENDAS. An interdisciplinary conference, "New Sexual Agendas", will be held on July 14-15 at the Enfield Site, Middlesex University. The conference aims to tackle the urgent practical and theoretical challenges to be faced in the area of gender and sexuality. ISLAMIC LAW. A conference entitled 'Islamic Law: Theory and Practice' will take place at Ashburne Hall, Manchester on June 13-14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. A workshop on Intellectual Property and Universities will be held at the University of Warwick on June 15-16. The aim of the workshop is to consider how institutions can identify sources of marketable intellectual property, how much effort should be devoted to patents and what procedures might guarantee the rights of staff and students.
