Point Park University is an arts university, which is based in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.?
The university has roots dating back to 1933, when it was formed as a one-room business school. It was formerly known as Point Park College, and the current name was revised in 2004.
Point Park University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges & Schools Commission on Higher Education. There are some 82 undergraduate programmes and 18 graduate programmes on offer to students through a variety of colleges, which are: School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Communication and the Conservatory of Performing Arts.

The campus is situated nearby the Point State Park – which the university was named after – in the city’s Golden Triangle. Moreover it is located in the centre of the business district, ensuring that students are in the middle of the action.
This also ensures that the university is within walking distance of the cultural district meaning that there is plenty for students to do.?

Baseball is the dominant sport, however others on offer include: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball and volleyball.
