Leading figures from the higher education world have gathered in Hong Kong for the inaugural Times Higher Education Innovation & Impact Summit, hosted in partnership with Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The prestigious conference looks at the extent to which?the role of higher education?in societal development can be identified and measured. Discussing themes such as internationalisation, social inclusion and economic disruption are leaders and experts from around the globe, including?policy makers, university?leaders and other sector influencers. The three-day summit aims to set the agenda on how universities can innovate towards creating greater impact.

Candace Johnson, who is speaking about entrepreneurship, is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, who co-founded SES ASTRA and was the architect of SES Global, one of the world’s largest satellite systems. She has also founded or co-founded ventures including Loral Teleport Europe, Europe Online, VATM, GTWN, Succès Europe and Oceania Women’s Network Satellite.
